Batmaid keeps billing straightforward: you can see every invoice, understand exactly what you were charged for, manage your payment method and vouchers, and get a quick answer if something looks off. This article covers viewing your invoices, how payments and discounts work, and what to do if a charge or voucher doesn't look right.
How do I view my invoices?
You can view your invoices and payment history in your Batmaid account, under your profile or billing section, once logged in.
How do payments work?
You pay online by credit card or Twint. If you have a recurring plan, your card is charged automatically 48 hours after each cleaning, while Twint payments are debited immediately.
You're charged for each completed cleaning (48 hours afterwards for card payments), for any cancellation fee due under the cancellation policy, or for extra time or extras added to a booking.
How do I update my payment method?
You can update your payment method by going to the "Profile" section of your Batmaid account and adding a new credit card, or selecting a previously used one.
What should I do if a payment fails?
If your payment fails, first check that your card has sufficient funds and that online payments and 3D Secure are enabled.
If your card has expired and you have received a replacement card, even if the card details remain the same, delete the old payment method from your account and add the new card again.
If the payment still fails, please contact your bank to check whether the transaction is being blocked.
How are discounts and vouchers applied?
Discounts and vouchers are applied at checkout automatically, as long as the order total (including tax) meets the voucher's minimum amount. The discount is deducted directly from the price shown.
A voucher may not apply if your order total is below its minimum amount, the voucher has expired, or it was already used or suspended for abusive use. Contact customer support if you believe this is an error.
What should I do if a charge is wrong?
Contact customer support with the invoice date and the specific amount you believe is wrong. They'll review the booking, any extras, and applicable fees to confirm or correct the charge. The same applies if you believe you were charged incorrectly for any other reason, reach out as soon as possible with the details, and support will review your booking and payment history and correct any billing error found.
If you were charged after a cancellation, this is usually because the cancellation fell within the paid-notice window under our cancellation policy::
28 days or more: free of charge.
Between 8 and 27 days: a CHF 20 fee applies.
7 days or fewer: the full cleaning amount is charged.
