Nobody wants to book a service and be surprised by the final bill. Batmaid keeps pricing simple and transparent: one hourly rate specific to each cleaning frequency, a clear minimum booking, and no hidden fees once you've selected your extras. This article walks through how pricing works, how vouchers and discounts apply, and what to expect on a recurring plan.
How pricing works?
The price of a cleaning is the number of hours booked multiplied by the hourly rate. Bookings have a minimum duration of 2 hours for recurring cleanings (weekly, every 2 weeks, every 4 weeks) and 3 hours for one-off (once) cleanings.
Any extras you select, such as windows, oven or fridge cleaning, add time to your preselected hours allocation. The price shown at checkout includes VAT and all applicable taxes, with no hidden costs, and pricing is the same across all regions of Switzerland.
How do vouchers, discounts and gift cards work?
Vouchers can only be used on the Batmaid website, and only if your order total (including tax) meets the voucher's minimum amount. Each voucher expires on the date stated on the voucher itself or on its campaign.
Gift cards work a little differently: once a gift card code has been sent, the purchase itself is non-refundable, but once you activate the code, the credit is added to your account and can be used toward any Plan. Unused gift-card credit expires 12 months after purchase, though it can be extended once for a further 12 months on request.
Vouchers and discounts can generally be applied to recurring cleaning bookings as well as one-off cleanings, as long as the order meets the voucher's minimum amount and terms of use (for the applicable frequency and customer type) given the voucher hasn't expired. Batmaid always makes clear whether a given offer is limited to recurring plans or applies to all cleaning types. If you're ever unsure whether a specific offer applies to your plan, customer support can confirm this for you.
